Extra FAQs

  • We will start the class with a 5 minute warm up. Then we will move on to learning the new choreography for that week (check our Facebook and Instagram if you’d like to know what the song and dance genre will be). At the end of class we will do a 5 minute cool down with some stretches.

  • We cover a wide range of styles throughout the year, including jazz, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop, heels, musical theatre and some Latin. Check our Instagram or Facebook to see what style we will be covering that week.

  • Any active wear or clothing you can comfortably move around in. We usually wear sneakers on our feet and sometimes socks or bare feet for our contemporary and lyrical routines.

  • Make sure you bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout class. One of the dance genres we cover is heels, heels are 100% optional but if you’d like to give our heels routine a go in heels, keep an eye on our Facebook or Instagram for when you might like to bring them along.

  • Our classes mostly appeal to people with previous dance experience, however we are happy to adjust moves to fit your skill level and ability.

  • No need to book, but feel free to send us a message if you’re interested in coming along just so we have a point of contact to let you know if anything changes.

  • We will message you with the online bank details after your first class or you can bring cash, whatever works best for you!

  • These classes are on a casual basis and we learn new choreography every week, so you don’t need to make it to every class. If you’re busy or just not feeling up to it, no need to stress, just come along when you’re able to!

  • Our classes are directed at an adult age group, so anyone 16 and up is welcome to join.

  • Our Facebook and Instagram pages will be regularly updated with what song and dance genre we will be focusing on each week, check them out if you’d like to know what we’ll be doing. We will work on a particular song and style for up to two weeks, so we can build up a decent routine to that song. Keep in mind it will always be new choreography every week. Although, we will continue on with a song, you will not be required to know what we learnt in the week prior. You are always welcome to take a break and come back any week.
